WHY MEDITATE?

Meditation is a scientifically backed practice that helps to rewire the brain, regulate the nervous system, and strengthen emotional resilience. With consistent practice, it has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus and memory, balance mood, and enhance overall wellbeing. It strengthens the prefrontal cortex (responsible for decision-making and focus) and reduces the activity of the amygdala (linked to fear and reactivity).

LEARN TO MEDITATE: A TWO-SESSION TRAINING PROGRAM

This program includes two 90-minute online sessions held one week apart, plus a personalised follow-up call two weeks after completion.

Session 1: Building Your Foundation

We'll establish the essential context for your practice, lightly touching on the history, lineages, and science that inform modern meditation. You'll experience a practice meditation with time for reflection, questions, and discussion. You'll leave with a clear, accessible, personalised method that works for your life.

The Week Between

This intentional gap gives you time to practice what you've learned in the context of your daily life, discovering what works, what's challenging, and what questions arise naturally through experience.

Session 2: Integrating Your Practice

We'll reconvene to address your questions, share insights, and troubleshoot challenges together. This session focuses on sustainability: how to establish supportive conditions, cultivate consistency, set realistic expectations, and stay engaged with your practice long-term.

Individual Follow-Up Call

Two weeks later, we'll connect one-on-one to discuss your continuing practice, work through any remaining questions, and ensure you feel confident moving forward.

Ongoing Support

All students receive continued guidance, including recommendations and referrals for those interested in deepening their practice within specific traditions. You’ll also receive an invitation to a quarterly deepening practice workshop for experienced meditators.
